The Wings for Val: Memoir of a Young Female Pilot book is now available for sale on Amazon.
This unique story of Val’s life, full of inspiration, was researched and written by a group of students and their teachers from the Shadow Ridge High School in Hesperia, California. It is Val telling her own story, and the book includes many beautiful color photos of Val with her family, friends and colleagues. All proceeds from the sale this book return to the Wings for Val Foundation to support our scholarship program.
This book was launched in Hesperia, California, in September of 2022 at an event that included some of the students and teachers involved in its writing.
