Tara Tomasegovich (2024)

The second runner-up for the 2024 W4V Foundation Lieutenant Valerie Cappelaere Delaney Memorial Scholarship is Tara Tomasegovich of McDavid, Florida. Tara received $2,000 for this award, paid directly to her flight school. She is a Navy veteran, having served as a naval air crewman and avionics maintainer. Tara completed her private pilot’s license late last year and will be using her scholarship funds to accelerate through increased ratings with the goal of becoming an instructor pilot.
