Renaye Lavin (2024)

The winner of the 2024 W4V Drone Training & Photography Scholarship worth $5,000 is Renaye Lavin of Wasilla, Alaska. Renaye is an air battle manager and C-130H loadmaster for the Alaska Air National Guard. She is also a certified flight instructor and instrument rated in helicopters at Neacola Mountain Air LLC. Renaye already has the FAA remote pilot’s license and is currently completing the DARTDrones Training Course. We hope she finds cool uses for her new professional drone purchased by Wings for Val Foundation. Congratulations, Renaye!
