The winner of the 2023 Wings for Val Drone Pilot’s Training & Photography Scholarship valued at $5,000.00 is Selise Askeland. Selise is originally from Houston, Texas, but recently has been pursuing a degree in Aviation Management at the Florida Institute of Technology. She is currently finishing up her commercial pilot’s license and will be starting CFI training soon. Selise has finished the DartDrones Training Course and passed the FAA Remote Pilot’s exam. The Wings for Val Foundation has purchased a professional drone for her. Congratulations, Selise!
